Job Details

General Summary: 

Responsible for supporting strategic growth initiatives and investor relations teams. May develop financial models to support analysis of internal initiatives, including the evaluation of potential acquisitions and/or strategic partnerships.

 

Resposibilties: 

  • Conduct market research and assist with preparing presentations on potential initiatives
  • Complete a project in both corporate strategy and strategic initiatives to present at end of internship.
  • Assist in development and maintenance of complex/detailed financial and valuation models to support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

§ Excellent writing and communication skills, with a strong interest in financial markets and business strategy

§ Working understanding of financial statement analysis and corporate finance

§ High degree of competence with Excel, with a demonstrated ability to create financial models

§ PowerPoint proficiency

§ Excellent planning and organizational skills

§ High level of attention to detail

§ Highly articulate and ability to reason in a compelling manner

§ Deals well with ambiguity

§ Results-driven and persistent

§ Unimpeachable attitude

 

Expereince: 

§ Current rising senior or incoming grad student studying finance, economics, or similar field

§ Prior finance internship experience or project work strongly preferred
