General Summary:
The income tax senior manager is responsible for assisting with preparation and some review of the Company’s quarterly income tax provisions. Due to the materiality of the Company’s income tax expense and related balance sheet accounts, strict compliance with internal control procedures is required in order to meet the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley section 404. The income tax senior manager is responsible for preparation and/or the initial review of the Company’s federal and state income tax returns, in addition to estimated payments. Must be able to research tax issues and effectively plan in the franchise and income tax areas. The individual will be responsible for the supervision of three employees including the review of all government filings prepared by these individuals. The income tax senior manager will report to the tax director who will supervise and review the work prepared by the income tax senior manager.
