Has the overall responsibility for analyzing and posting the timely and accurate reconciliation of store inventories to the physical counts. Responsible for exercising independent judgment and discretion following complex rules and procedures. Must be able to identify, research, and resolve store inventory inaccuracies due to shipping or inventory adjustment errors. This role has a direct financial impact on the on hand accuracy and shrink results of all store locations.
§ With a very high degree of accuracy, researches, analyzes, and resolves reconciliation exceptions prior to posting to the retail stock ledger.
§ Evaluates and resolves ad hoc analysis within the department
§ Researches inaccurate or conflicting information provided by the field as necessary to ensure the posted shrink results are accurate.
§ Maintains electronic files for inventories including: monthly transaction reports, distribution center tracking information, exception research, reconciliation paperwork including emails, final reports, and other documentation related to the inventory.
§ Assists with special projects as needed.
§ Proficiency in Microsoft word processing and spreadsheet applications; ability to utilize database application
§ Excellent analytical and quick-decision making skills
§ Strong attention to detail with highly organized, advanced office skills
§ Strong written and verbal communication skills
§ Ability to learn new processes quickly
§ Ability to manage multiple decision processes while working in a fast-paced paperless environment using multiple systems and databases

Work Experience and/or Education:
Associates degree or equivalent and one to two years relevant experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Three to four years relevant experience may be substituted for degree. Experience in retail leadership role preferred.
