    Job Details

    General Summary:

    Assists the Allocation Planners and Director of Allocations with data requests and reporting. This position would also be responsible for the review and execution of all import merchandise splits. They will also perform in season analysis and basic stock level adjustments for seasonal merchandise categories.

     

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Assist Allocation Planners and Director of Allocations with data requests and reporting.

    Review and complete all import sku level merchandise splits, use ASP solution and transfer to IP.

    In season item analysis and basic stock level adjustments.

    Handle store allocation exception inquiries from the field.

    Analysis for special merchandise allocation projects.

    Assist Allocation planner with completion of assortments during peak periods.

    Qualifications

    Knowledge and Skills:

    - Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills, strong analytical skills, organizational skills, good communication skills (both verbal and written), flexible, team player, customer driven.

    - Knowledge of basic merchandising and allocation principles.

    - Knowledge of analytical and planning principles for a retail business.

    - Knowledge of analytical and planning systems and tools such as ARTHUR and Data Warehouses.

     

    Work Experience and/or Education:

    Bachelors degree preferably in business, retail, or supply chain or 2 to 3 years of Planning, Allocation or Replenishment experience in a retail environment.
