    General Summary:

    Under general direction, supports all efforts and administrative duties associated with community initiatives department and corporate communications department.


    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Under direct supervision, provides overall administrative and staff support for department (maintain calendars; screen calls; schedule meetings; prepare documents; generate reports; arrange travel; maintain contacts; and general filing).
    • Assist in the preparation and control of records, statistics, reports, letters and briefings related to community initiatives.
    • Under direct supervision, administers programs, projects and or processes specific to the operating unit; including compliance with state and federal reporting requirements, screening grant applications for eligibility; and maintaining donor databases.
    • Serve as administrative liaison for administrative issues related to purchasing, personnel, facilities and operations for departments.
    • Monitor monthly expenses and tracking of departmental budget.
    • Assist with drafting written communications to internal and external audiences.


    Knowledge & Skills:

    • A team player and customer service driven
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Ability to communicated effectively with internal and external clients (written and oral)
    • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
    • Ability to handle confidential matters

    Work Experience and/or Education:

    High School diploma and one to two years' secretarial experience preferred
