The Director of Allocations partners with cross-functional business teams to lead the Allocations Team to develop, execute and communicate allocation strategies and inventory flow that support overall plans and deliver on financial goals. This position leads all aspects of allocations planning and execution of replenishment strategies in order to achieve sales, margin, turn and other KPIs. These strategies will determine how to effectively utilize our inventory to support merchandise plans and company initiatives to meet the financial plan. Creates and articulates vision, provides strategy guidance to the team, is accountable for leading/guiding team and cultivating an environment of continuous learning.
Bachelor’s degree business management, finance, Supply Chain or related field. Five years of experience in Retail Planning, Allocation, Assortment Planning, Replenishment or Inventory management required. Five years of supervisory experience required. Direct experience in retail industry and/or associated value chain required. Knowledge of supply chain systems preferred. Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) preferred.
