    The Director of Allocations partners with cross-functional business teams to lead the Allocations Team to develop, execute and communicate allocation strategies and inventory flow that support overall plans and deliver on financial goals. This position leads all aspects of allocations planning and execution of replenishment strategies in order to achieve sales, margin, turn and other KPIs. These strategies will determine how to effectively utilize our inventory to support merchandise plans and company initiatives to meet the financial plan. Creates and articulates vision, provides strategy guidance to the team, is accountable for leading/guiding team and cultivating an environment of continuous learning.

    Job Details

    • Lead and provide strategic guidance to allocation team on the development of Seasonal Inventory allocation strategies that support the financial plan. Communicate risks and opportunities to leadership. Lead pre/in-season inventory strategies to provide frequent assessments and revised recommendations to cross functional team/leadership.
    • Owns the end-to-end management of non-core Seasonal Inventory including Set Readiness, Inventory Productivity and Sell Thru targets.
    • Drives continuous process improvement within department, ensures ongoing effectiveness and efficiency for team. Leads change/growth initiatives for the business through strong relationships with the cross functional team.
    • Develop and communicate Non-Core Assortment Allocation strategies to Supply Chain, Merchandising and Operations
    • Manage team to achieve high levels of performance and engagement. Mentor, train, and develop associates. Accountable for skill development and leadership competency of team and develops bench-strength through active participation in recruiting/succession planning.

    • Allocation and Replenishment experience



    Bachelor’s degree business management, finance, Supply Chain or related field. Five years of experience in Retail Planning, Allocation, Assortment Planning, Replenishment or Inventory management required. Five years of supervisory experience required. Direct experience in retail industry and/or associated value chain required. Knowledge of supply chain systems preferred. Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) preferred.
