    Job Details

    Design and deploy a strategic framework for proactively identifying, assessing and organizing Fresh Store Operation-related initiatives

    Lead cross-functional and strategic projects across store operations, supply chain, and merchandising targeted at unlocking additional margin (shrink/damage reduction, cold, CGO, labor requirements, etc.) for Fresh product categories

    Develop a comprehensive framework for the application of test and learn analytical capabilities for store operations-related activities. This includes designing an organizational framework for the rapid development, measurement and reporting of test performance. Serve as the Fresh Initiative’s subject matter expert for store operations, both field and SSC, as it relates to test and learn concepts and application throughout this subset of stores.

    Liaise with field management (RD, DM, SM) and ensure understanding and execution of key store processes associated with the Fresh Initiative including providing visibility to exceptions and trend performance.

    Qualifications

    Proven skills in fresh product merchandising, space planning, and retail concepts and activities

    Strong project management skills with proven ability to work cross-functionally

    Proven ability to develop and deploy a strategic vision to a cross-functional set of processes

    Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; good understanding of statistical concepts and application

    Proven ability to organize, prioritize, be detail-oriented and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment

    Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to summarize information into reports and presentations for executive leadership

    Strong proficiency in all MS Office applications

    Bachelor’s degree in business or related quantitative field required.

     

    Minimum 8 years in retail (grocery preferred) management with including training & development, perishables product quality control, labor planning and store planning.
