    General Summary:

    The Scan Based Trading Analyst Sr oversees and manages both processes and systems that support the Dollar General Scan Based Trading (SBT) program. This position determines implementation plans and project flow/guidelines for SBT Trading Partners in addition to managing EDI, Master Data, Pricing, testing and setup, as well as, the ongoing maintenance of these key business elements for SBT Trading Partners. This role partners with DG teams to create and/or improve current business processes by developing process flows, policies, standard operating procedures and training materials.

    Job Details

    • Manage approval process and execution of EDI transactions, Pricing Requests, and MDM Setups for both existing SBT Trading Partners including error resolution
    • Error management, system testing and business process troubleshooting. Working with IS to develop/test new systems and enhancements to existing systems. Partner with DG teams to create and/or improve current business processes by developing process flows, policies, standard operating procedures and training materials.
    • Onboard and complete testing with new SBT vendors
    • Manage the SBT Workgroup and Deliverables

    Qualifications

    • Must be a team player and customer service driven.
    • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in written form.
    • Excellent organizational and people skills.
    • Self-motivated and able to coordinate own workload to complete tasks on a timely basis.
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Access
    • Capable of analyzing reports, performing error resolution, and making business decisions.
    • Familiar with data mapping between systems or EDI experience preferred Experience with data entry, quality and management preferred
    • Familiar with cost and retail management preferred

     

     

    Work Experience/Education:

    • Associates degree required
    • Excel experience required
    • Small project management experience required
    • 3-5 years of Pricing, EDI and/or Master Data experience
