Job Details

 

The Store Operations Sr. Analyst position is responsible for executing retail labor budgets and the employee scheduling system for over 14,000 stores. It is a high visibility role requiring strong technical (Excel, Access, SQL), analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Forecasting drivers for labor budgets and schedules in over 14,000 stores
  • Create labor budgets and schedules for 14,000+ stores
  • Weekly labor reporting
  • Analyses to understand trends in labor expenses and scheduling
  • Develop better, more efficient processes to manage routine team tasks
  • Answer field leadership questions and resolve issues with labor budgets and schedules
  • Setup standards to calculate and schedule labor in each store
  • Diagnose and resolve issues in our labor scheduling system
  • Partner with IT departments to continue development of labor systems
  • Perform miscellaneous analyses and projects as needed

 

 

Qualifications

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and quantification
  • Strong proficiency in all MS applications (including Access and Excel)
  • Aptitude to quickly learn new software applications (such as databases)
  • Ability analyze data, identify trends and exceptions
  • Understanding of workforce management and retail operations
  • Proficiency using 1010data a significant plus

 

Work Experience and/or Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Information Systems or other related field required, with 1-4 years of work experience in an analyst or analyst-related role. Retail operations management and/or industrial engineering (for labor standards) a plus..
