Manager, Personalization and Loyalty

General Summary:

The Personalization and Loyalty Manager will identify and deploy both scaled and personalized Digital Marketing campaigns through the most effective channels by customer segment.  This role will also support the development of a loyalty strategy, as well as identify, evaluate, and stand-up new-to-DG loyalty programs/tactics.  

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identify both scaled and personalized opportunities though data analytics; includes data unification across multiple sources of shopper insights
  • Deploy campaigns across relevant channels (display on and off property, social, e-mail, SMS, in-app, etc) leveraging owned channels and paid channels via our DMP; continually evaluate campaign and channel performance for optimization
  • Lead Digital Media Buying; be the subject matter expert across all digital media buying, including search, display, social, etc.; Lead DMP integration with both internal and external partners
  • Support digital circular reinvention; lead the creation of a personalized digital circular experience
  • Identify, explore, and recommend to test and scale new-to-DG loyalty tactics and opportunities

 

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Strong analytics across multiple data sources and platforms, including digital media, sales data, and shopper data
  • Experienced with buying a variety of digital media types
  • CRM, ESP, marketing cloud, or other personalization technology experience
  • Experience with retailer and/or customer facing Loyalty programs
  • Ability to work across teams and thrive in a lean, fast-paced environment

 

Work Experience and/or Education: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years experience in marketing, shopper/marketing analytics, digital marketing or digital media buying, 5+ years experience managing digital personalization, CRM, loyalty and/or digital media buying
